A budget is a broad road map of the economic policy of the government and an outlined plan for reviving the growth spirit of the Indian economy. Jagran College of Arts Science and Commerce, conducts an analysis of the Annual Union Budget every year to get a broader perspective on the current status. This year’s Analysis of Union Budget 2023 was organized on 07/02/2023. The keyboard Speaker of the Seminar was CA Govind Maheshwari (Tax Guru) . He was given a warm welcome in the College Campus by Principal Dr. Asmita Dubey, Dr. Hema Rohra, Faculties and students. Mrs. Isha , presented a sapling as token of welcome to the guest speaker. It was followed by a presentation by the honorable speaker in which he explained the basic terminology associated with the budget. He then went on to explain the key takeaways of the current budget. He explained the vision of the
government behind the current budget and also clarified the various new policies implemented for the facilitation of MSMEs and startups. The most anticipated part of the budget is the reduction of tax slabs and the introduction of a new tax regime, which was explained in lucent language by the speaker. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session in which the students from various classes, as well as the members of the faculty, put up their queries to the resource person and all the questions were comprehensively answered by the respected resource person. The event concluded with the summarization of the workshop by the anchor and the presentation of memento to the guest by the principal of Jagran College, Dr. Asmita Dubey. The CEO of Jagran Education Foundation, Dr. JN Gupta, and the Directors of respective Jagran institutions also graced the workshop with their honorable presence.#Budget2023
