15th October, 2022: Remembrance Day of our Honorable Founder Chairman and All India Essay Competition

To mark the first Remembrance Day of our honorable Ex- Chairman, late Shri Yogendra Mohan Gupta Ji, the alumni association of Jagran College of Arts Science and Commerce assisted and sponsored a Mid-Day Meal for the underprivileged students of government run primary school at Juhi, Kanpur which is adopted by Bhavana Welfare Foundation. Students were provided with delicacies and nutritious food, which in turn became a smile on their innocent faces. In these smiles we remembered our beloved Sir and his ideals to give back to the society. His commitment to make stronger and better India.

On 15th October, 2022, the alumni association of Jagran College assisted and sponsored a mid-day meal for the underprivileged students in the memory of our late former Chairman Y.M. Sir.

Tribute to our beloved Chairman, an extraordinary leader, great educationist, poet, editor and a visionary philanthropist late Shri Yogendra Mohan Gupta Ji on his first Punyatithee! Today in Jagran College all the members of Jagran Pariwar remembered his contribution to this grandiose educational institution and to the upliftment of society, he gave us a beaconing identity in the arena of education and his memory continues to inspire the millions.

Today by organizing various humanistic activities we fondly remembered him on his first Remembrance Day. By doing so, we reiterated our vows to keep his ideals alive in our hearts.   Y.M. Sir, a generous heart is still remembered for the philanthropy and the kindness he showered. Remembering his iconic position in the industry and his kind personality, more than 150 students of Jagran College participated in the All-India Essay Competition, with the topic that is synonymous to his life journey, ” Rising with Kindness”. The event was conducted in collaboration with Heartfulness Education Trust and Shri Ram Chandra Mission and coordinated by Dr. Hema Rohra and Dr. Reshma Rajani.

Further, all the souls that were present in the college premises gathered under a roof that Y.M. Sir himself built by his tireless efforts. Here they all paid homage to their beloved leader, the north star of our voyage to the greatness. Dr. J.N. Gupta (CEO, JEF) fondly reminisce the time he spent with him.  He mentioned the energy and grit this great personality possessed which led to the creation of many endeavors, Jagran College being one of them. Dr. Asmita Dubey and other faculty members paid floral tributes and gave tearful homage to their beloved Sir. Later Ms. Shruti Shukla, Assistant Professor, Music Department, in her soulful voice presented bhajans that everyone cherished and remembered the great soul who touched a million lives with his goodness and simplicity.
