Celebrating the 10th International Yoga Day with the NSS Unit of Jagran College!*
On this special day, we organized a rejuvenating yoga session for our NSS volunteers, students, and the wonderful kids from Juhi Garha Basti. The theme of our session was *”Yoga for Balance”*, emphasizing the importance of balancing all aspects of life for overall well-being.
Yoga is not just about physical postures; it’s a journey towards mental peace, emotional stability, and spiritual growth. In today’s fast-paced world, finding balance is crucial. Balancing our responsibilities, relationships, work, and self-care leads to a harmonious life.
Our yoga session included:
Energizing asanas to invigorate the body
Mindfulness practices to calm the mind
Breathing exercises to enhance emotional well-being
Inspirational talks on integrating balance in daily life
We were honored to have Mrs. Rekha from Rajshree Tandon Open University and Mr. Gaurav Sharma, our Sports Convener, as our esteemed instructors.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Asmita Dubey, Principal, and Dr. Upendra Pandey, Director of JIMMC.
The sessions took place at Jagran College and in Juhi Garha Basti, ensuring everyone had the opportunity to participate and benefit from this enriching experience.
We are grateful to everyone who joined us and made this event a success. Special thanks to the underprivileged children from Juhi Garha Basti who brought joy and positivity to our session. Together, let’s embrace the spirit of yoga and strive for balance in every aspect of our lives.
