On September 4, 2024, Jagran College of Arts, Science, and Commerce was immersed in an atmosphere of joy and inspiration as we celebrated the invaluable bond between mentors and mentees on the occasion of Teacher’s Day. The event was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Nutan Vohra, former Principal and Head of the Psychology Department at A.N.D College, whose insightful words left a lasting impact on all present.
Dr. Vohra eloquently highlighted the power of gratitude, emphasizing that ‘gratitude is the best attitude’ and shedding light on the importance of overcoming the fear of failure to unleash true creativity. Her address served as a powerful reminder that mentorship is not just about guidance but also about fostering an environment where learning and innovation can flourish without fear.
One of the most mesmerizing moments of the event was a captivating dance drama presented by our talented students. The performance beautifully depicted the essence of the mentor-mentee relationship, bringing emotions to life on stage. Adding to the depth of the celebration, a soulful rendition of the song Main Kabhi Batlata Nahin by Shashank moved the audience profoundly, resonating with the heartfelt gratitude we all feel for our mentors.
The energy of the event was further amplified by an electrifying band performance that left the audience spellbound. Through music and rhythm, the band encapsulated the spirit of perseverance, determination, and focus—qualities that define the mentor-mentee connection.
The day was a perfect blend of reflection, appreciation, and celebration, reinforcing the significance of mentorship in shaping our academic and personal journeys. As we honored the mentors who have guided and inspired us, we were reminded of the transformative power of support, encouragement, and the unwavering belief in each other’s potential.
Teacher’s Day 2024 at Jagran College was not just an event but a heartfelt tribute to those who shape minds and nurture dreams. It left everyone with a renewed commitment to fostering meaningful mentor-mentee relationships, ensuring that learning remains a journey of mutual growth and inspiration.
