Job Fair at Jagran College

A Job Fair was successfully organized on December 7, 2024, at Jagran College of Arts, Science, and Commerce in collaboration with the Directorate of Training and Employment, Uttar Pradesh. The event aimed to provide students with an opportunity to interact with leading companies and explore potential career avenues.

The Job Fair was inaugurated by the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Mahesh Trivedi (MLA, Kidwai Nagar), along with Mr. Ujjawal Kumar Singh (Assistant Director, Employment) and Dr. Asmita Dubey (Principal, Jagran College of Arts, Science, and Commerce). Mr. Mahesh Trivedi addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of discipline, time management, and goal-setting in shaping their careers. He encouraged them to actively participate in the recruitment process and make the most of this opportunity.

A total of eleven esteemed companies participated in the event, including Paliwal Diagnostic Private Ltd, Ujala SignasKulwanti Hospital, Ashai India Glass Limited, Yahako India Private Ltd, Motherson Met Automotive Pvt Ltd, Autocomp Corporation Panse Pvt Ltd, A.S World Group, Independent Youth Logistics, Shree Ram Finance, Pankaj Enterprises, and Awoke India Foundation. The fair witnessed enthusiastic participation, with approximately 230 students attending the drive, out of which 92 students were successfully shortlisted by various companies.

The event was meticulously coordinated by the Training and Placement Cell of the college. The Placement Committee members, including Mrs. Anamika Srivastava, Dr. Roopali Mishra, Mrs. Padmini Shukla, Mrs. Anamika Yadav, Dr. Vidushi Sharma, Mr. Vikas Khare, Mr. Prateek Arora, Mr. Aniket Kapoor, Ms. Arushi Yadav, and Ms. Akanksha Singh, played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of the job fair. The entire team received unwavering support from the Principal, Dr. Asmita Dubey. The Job Fair was a resounding success, with students participating enthusiastically and demonstrating keen interest in securing employment opportunities. The event not only facilitated meaningful interactions between students and potential employers but also reinforced the college’s commitment to empowering students with career opportunities. Such initiatives continue to strengthen the bridge between academia and industry, ensuring a brighter future for aspiring professionals.
