Rhythms of Tradition: Man-Mradang- A celebration of Elation

On the vibrant evening of 14th November, Jagran College witnessed an electrifying celebration of culture and tradition with the much-anticipated Manmradang Dandiya event. The event was organized with great enthusiasm by the Cultural Committee, bringing together students, faculty, and staff for a night of rhythmic beats and lively performances.

The event commenced at 4:00pm with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by Vice Chairperson Mrs Ritu Gupta, CEO Prof J N Gupta, Principal Dr Asmita Dubey, and Directors of JEF group. The College dance group performed an enthralling garba dance, setting the perfect tone for the evening and transforming the courtyard into a dazzling dance floor, adorned with bright decorations and twinkling lights, creating a festive atmosphere.

Students dressed in traditional attire added a vibrant charm to the evening, showcasing the rich heritage of Indian culture. The rhythmic clashing of sticks and synchronized dance steps created an enchanting ambiance, captivating both participants and spectators. A live DJ kept the energy high with a blend of traditional Garba tracks and contemporary music.

Refreshments and snacks were arranged to keep the participants energized, making the evening not only a cultural extravaganza but also a social gathering for the entire college community.

The Manmradang Dandiya event concluded on a joyous note, leaving everyone with cherished memories. The event successfully fostered a spirit of unity, tradition, and celebration among the students, making it a resounding success.
