Statutory Declaration on Institution Website under Sec-4(1)(b) of RTI Act 2005:
1. The College, Jagran College of Arts, Science and Commerce, is registered under section 2F and 12B of UGC Act 1956, established in 2006 by the Dainik Jagran newspaper group, with an initial intake of approximately 50 students in BA and B.Com, now expanded to around 3300 students across seven academic programs.
2. Objectives: To provide quality education, groom future leaders, and foster socially and globally responsible individuals who contribute to national and international development while promoting Indian values through knowledge and technological excellence.
3. Governance: The College maintains various bodies to ensure discipline on campus. These bodies, formed by the Principal in consultation with the management, are under the purview of Sec-4(1)(b) of RTI Act 2005.
4. RTI Applications: Applications under the RTI Act should be accompanied by a postal order/demand draft of Rs. 10.00 in favor of Principal, Kanpur Degree College. All information under Sec-4(1)(b) of RTI Act 2005 is accessible to the public.
