Bachelor in Computer Application (B.C.A)

Relevance of B.C.A: Computers have become necessity of our daily life.Our Computer Application Programme provides a rigorous training in Computer Application. The emphasis is on developing required skills in students within an increasingly dynamic environment across organizations and sectors.

B.C.A. or Bachelor of Computer Application is a degree Programme that truly reflects the reality of globalization. It exposes students to the core area of computers as well as given them ample opportunity to specialize in a variety of languages: C, C++, JAVA & HTML
The B.C.A. programme opens new doors of opportunity to students. It is more applied than any other undergraduate degree. The programme teaches as to develop a software and make it more efficient.

Internal Assessment: The internal assessment process is a flexible combination of internal examinations, group and individual assignments, presentations and practical work. Assessment is performed at the end of each semester and 25% marks are based on internal assessment.

Teaching Methodology: The programme utilizes a variety of teaching & learning styles. The knowledge content is covered through lectures, tutorials, workshops, practical work, and problem solving exercises, case studies, business games, simulation, business report writing & presentations. The students also have an opportunity to work in smaller groups.

Admission Procedure:
Eligibility for B.C.A: Intermediate from any board or any other equivalent examination of Arts, Science & Commerce etc. Students appearing in the Intermediate may also apply, subject to production of evidence of passing the examination at the time of admission.

Admission:
  1. The college prospectus containing the admission form shall be available from the Administrative Block of College at 620, W-Block, Saket Nagar, Kanpur-208014 on the payment of Rs. 200 in cash (non-refundable).
  2. Self-attested photocopies countersigned by parents/guardians, of all the previous marksheets, original copies of migration & transfer certificates must be attached with the admission form. Two passport size photographs & three self addressed inland letters are to be submitted with the admission form.
  3. The admission to B.B.A. programme is based on. The marks obtained in Class XII examination and Personal Interview.
  4. All those students who failed in B.B.A.I, II and III year will not be given admission in the college again.
  5. The Director of the college is authorised to revise or change the admission procedure.
  6. The decision of the Director regarding admission shall be final and he has the right to cancel any admission.

Warning: Any concealment, fraud and/or misrepresentation at the time of admission will result in automatic cancellation of the admission of the candidate.
